Session Survey Dataset

These are the attendee evaluation scores of a speaker’s four sessions during a conference that was held in two cities - firstly in London then in Dublin. The speaker spoke on two topics (Power BI Foundation and Power BI Advanced) at both London and Dublin. The data has been anonymised and fictionalised. The attendees gave a score between 0 and 5 on five aspects of each session: Overall, Content, Presentation, Demos and Logistics. The scores were based as follows: 0 - Not sure / Missing, 1 - Terrible, 2 - Poor, 3 - OK, 4 - Good, 5 - Excellent.

Data Description and Links

This data is in an Excel spreadsheet in a public web location here. The spreadsheet has several related tables: Session, Event, Question, Score and Eval.

Suggested Analysis Approach

Analyse and visualise the dataset. Hint: you will need to unpivot and merge data in the Query Editor.

Answer these questions:

• was the foundation or advanced course get better scores
• did the speaker improve their scores between London (first event) and Dublin (second event)
• what was the range of scores
