We started in July 2014 and have had so far over 190 talks and events We are open to everyone and all our meetup and evening events are free. Our events are either online or in-person in central London.

Introduction to Generative AI
Date: 26th January 2026
Time: 10am to 4pm
Location: Cathedral View, Carlisle Place, London SW1P 1NL Directions
This is a beginner level course to get people started in using AI assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT effectively and understand how when and where they can be useful. We will work on hands-on guided exercises.
In the morning, we’ll learn how to use our AI tools to:
- generate new ideas and think creatively.
- explain how things work: for example, identify root causes of problems and suggest solutions.
- plan and organise tasks or activities.
- summarise long documents and draft new ones.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the AI assistant’s full capabilities to:
- use advanced reasoning to solve really hard problems.
- work with images: describe them, and interpret visuals such as maps or charts.
- use notebook features to answer questions based on document contents and create podcasts, mind maps, or study guides.
Please bring a full charged laptop.
Modern Excel

This is a full day training on modern Excel on 23rd March 2026. We’ll cover many features: for example, spill functions, summarising data with the new GROUPBY and PIVOTBY functions, and show how to use the powerful LET and LAMBDA functions. The morning session will be guided follow-the instructor tutorial style. During the afternoon session, attendees will work in teams of 4-6 people on a hands-on Excel challenge then present their result to the class.
Please bring a full charged laptop with Excel 365 installed.
Modern Data Modelling in Power BI
Date: 27th April 2026
Time: 10am to 4pm
Location: Cathedral View, Carlisle Place, London SW1P 1NL Directions
This is a full day training on data modelling in Power BI on 27th April 2026. Data Modelling is the core skill needed to build good, correct Power BI reports. We will cover fact and dimension tables, the star schema pattern and touch on DAX, TMDL and using AI with the Power BI Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to help with building good data models. The morning session will be guided follow-the instructor tutorial style. During the afternoon session, attendees will work in teams of 4-6 people on a hands-on data modelling challenge then present their result to the class.
Please bring a full charged laptop with Power BI Desktop installed.
