Generative AI Courses

We offer two courses on Generative AI. The Introduction to Generative AI course is a beginner level course to get people started in using tools like ChatGPT effectively and understand where these tools can be of use.

The Generative AI for Data Analysis course is for people in a Business intelligence (BI) or data analysis role. It focusses on using these tools to analyse data, help with Excel problems, and write better code in one of the popular data languages: SQL, Python and DAX.

Suggestions for getting the best from these courses

The courses have several exercises where attendees are in teams of about 4 - 5 people and work in a breakout room. Each team will have a different exercise.

Teams then report back to the class. Here are some hints how to do this well:

• agree on a main spokesperson for each presentation
• start at the beginning; explain the background, progress, challenges as well as results and conclusions
• show and tell: for example, when presenting a conversation with an AI tool, give the audience time to read the conversation
